26 Daisies is an Event Planning and Catering located in Sugar Land, Texas. This company plans, creates, and executes private events. They are a small business that started in 2014 and is owned and operated by two life long best friends whose mission is as follows:Â

My Internship Duties
As an intern, it is my responsibility to communicate with clients for "post-COVID" events, help plan details, create menus, understand the in's and out's of how they do their event planning, etc. I would be in charge of communicating with vendors, venues, and clients for details concerning the events. I will also be learning food photography, how to prep food, and how to create templates and mock menus for upcoming events. I needed no academic requirements, I only needed to have an interest and drive for the event planning industry. This is a paid internship. I am paid $12/hour and work Monday-Friday. Saturday and Sunday are reserved for personal leisure and are usually only occupied if there is an event planned.
In this internship, I have improved my organizational, planning, marketing, and financial skills. I created a new organizational system, learned how and why certain items are priced, and how to improve traffic on all social media platforms.
